Mend Yamaha 1200XLT Waverunner Will Not Start

YAMAHA WAVERUNNER 1200XLT WILL NOT START?

HI I HAVE A 2003 LO HOUR WAVERUNNER 12OOXLT WHICH I HAD RUNNING GREAT UNTIL THIS WEEKEND. I TRIED TO START IT AND THE NEW BATTERY SLOWLY TURNED OVER THE MOTOR (WAS OUT OF GAS). I PUT IN NEW GAS, RECHARGED THE BATTERY AND ONLY GET THE "START" LIGHT ON THE GAUGES WITH NO CRANKING AT ALL ANY SUGGESTIONS? I CHECKED THE FUSES AND THE BATTERY IS STILL FULLY CHARGED. We have a 99' that's low hours and excellent new motor ran great til' this weekend also and we did exactly what you did and all we get is a click no beep as usual and it has full charge on battery also....looks like we need to ask louder so we can figure this out!! please post your solution if you get one and we'll do the same. We even checked the wiring and other stuff such as the fuses and nothing is wrong all wires are connected and plug is clean??

Hi Ron, was wondering if you resolved the electrical problem yet. I have a 1200 XLT with a new battery that responded this weekend in a similar way...Start Light--no cranking. thanks
