Mend Vaillant Heating Water Tap

Vaillant boiler not heating water?

My vaillant cobin boiler is not heating water when the tap is on but is heating up fine for the central heating. THe only way to get hot water is to have the central heating on then you get a small amount but not enough for a shower. Any ideas on what it may be and how to mend it?

its definitely the diverter valve, had an engineer yesterday from storm heating, and he said it was checked it anc concluded the DHW need changing

Hi Mark,
Funny enough am Mark as well, and i am having the same problem, I had to rush out the shower this morning to switch on the the central heating just get the hot water running again. please tell me if it has been fixed and how?

sounds like scale or divert vavle gone or micro switch gone rember you must be corgi regs to paly with boilers
