how is the code inserted into a Renault/Philips Radiosat 6010 radio?

I have the code for this radio which is in a Renault Kangoo the radio is a Renault Philips Radiosat 6010 model no 22Dc461/62E. I have tried to insert the code via all the buttons on the front but the first digit on the screen just keeps blinking 0, how is the code inserted into this radio? HELP.

Do You have a pilot?
if so do it this way:
- turn the knob behind th pilot to change a digit on a display
- than press the button under the pilot
- repeat this sequence 4 times
- after last digit press and hold down the button for about 3-4 seconds
