My Dyson DC 04 is only picking up when using the tool?
Any ideas what the problem might be,my DC 04 is only picking up when I use in the upright positionwith the tools as soon as I release the handle to hoover normally there is a loud noise and doesnt pick up.
Can you tip the machine on its back and see if the brushes are actually rotating? Maybe they are clogged with string or something. Access is quite easy if you remove the bottom sole plate - 3 plastic screws I think. You'll find a lot of fluff etc in there anyway which is worth getting rid of.
