Locate the cd player's optical lens (eye) clean it gently in circles with a qtip which had been dipped in rubbing alcohol.make sure it is dry with another qtip.Dont press too hard or you will kill the lens!

Try cleaning the lens with some purple methelated sprits or just cd cleaning fluid.Note: Using purple meths will require you to open the unit which is not a good idea unless you now what your doing.Or better yet.Get a lens cleaning cd.
