Mend Briggs & Stratton 6 hp Spark Lawn Mower Engine

No spark from a new armature magneto for a Briggs and Stratton 6 hp engine?

I have a 6 hp Briggs and Stratton lawn mower that would not produce a spark. I replaced the armature magneto and still no spark. What else am I missing? Help.

Assumng you have tried a new spark plug, check that the kill wire is not grounded - either directly or via a faulty stop switch.
