How to fix/replace primer bulb?

I did a complete gasket seal on the carburetor it was drawing air and wouldent prime. now, I believe its the primer bulb. Question: How do I fix the bulb or replace the bulb? on the model sprint ll 3.75 hp. briggs and stratton Model: 961140002

The primer is retained in tha carb body by a couple of 'lugs' that have to be depressed witha screwdriver of similar. The retaining ring will come out, followed by the primer bulb. The new kit wll have the bulb and retaner - obtain a new one first and examine it - it will become obvious how it's supposed to fit. Get a GENUINE Brggs part - the pattern ones don't fit properly.
