how can i fix my aeg competence B1180-1 oven?

the oven keeps cutting out once it has been on for approximately 25-30mins,the light in the oven compartment goes off a long with the heat.if you try to turn it off and back on again it doesnt respond.but if you wait for the oven to cool down it will restart again but only for same period of time.please if anyone has any ideas i would be gratful.

take the oven out the housing.remove the top panel behind the front control panel.look for a blue torpedo shaped stat that has 4 wires coming from it 2 blue/2 white.if it looks burnt this is your problem.replacing it will solve your issue as the cooling fan will not operate unless this part is good
