Can anyone help please? I have a Hotpoint Dishwasher FDW20 and when I switch it on it starts to make all the normal noises as its filling up. After a very short time it stops and 2 flashing lights appear (pre-wash and rinse lights). I have tried re-setting it or switching it off but the same thing keeps happening :-( What can this be? Is it something I could do myself if I have to replace a part? I'm quite handy :-)
According to the manual, "pre-wash and rinses" flashing means the filter is clogged. Turn the dishwasher off, clean the filter, and put it back in position. Turn the dishwasher back on.
