homelite 925 chainsaw won,t run hot?

starts ok, runs ok,but when it gets warmed up it doesn,t want to run and quits. about one third the way through a 12 inch log does it. after that it doesn,t want to start and run, when it cools off it will do the same thing again. changed plug and cleaned carb. and it doesn,t help. thanks wes

Get your coil tested, some cut out when they heat up. Air gap is .010. Most lawnmower shops have a tester. If you have points change your condenser.
