no red key key code light stays on car wont start got one blue key when bought car had to to change engine disconnected battery think this is the cause of the problem
ive fitted a few second hand engines i 2000 on puntos and the only time ive had this problem is when i have failed to replace the small earth wire back on the injector body. the crankshaft sensor is not coded to the ecu good luck

this could be due to a bad earth connection, or a problem with your imobilizer which is on the starter motor, disconnect these two wires and join them together which is called bypassing, you shouldnt hav another problem with the imobilizer as this permanently disactivates the imobilizer. it happend on my t reg punto sporting

nope its the crank shaft angle sensor the one on your origonal engine is coded to the ecu also so you will need to find it and put it on your new engine
