How can I fix myMountfield recoil starter pulley ?
Ransomes Mountfield 3.7 Hp lawn mower Tecumseh engine, .
The Recoil spring in the recoil starter pulley has partly come out.
I assume it will need a new pulley with spring or just a new spring. How do you remove the pulley from the cowling
Remove cowling from engine. Drift out large roll pin from outside to dis-assemble starter. When re-assembling, push in pin only as far as is necessary to make starter operate correctly.
