starting the lawn mower ?

if it is a regular lawn mower. there will be a prime button on the front of the motor. then you will push it 3-6,times and then pulll the starter string. if its a riding mower you will need to have it in neutral and pull back and press the brake and turn thre key and it should crank right up.
