the drier is like a fan heater on top of the machine on mine fan didnt work so the heating element would overheat and cutout switch would operate -fitted new fan (about ÂŁ12) working fine ! if your water isnt heating up that would be a seperate problem as the kettle style element is underneath at the back - unplug at mains before working on machine very dangerous if power on !
