how to tranfer music onto my reddmango mp3?

17/8/14 Me too!!! - not being able to get the songs deleted in whole or part, despite adjusting the lock switch on the device itself. However, I've just tried going intomy PCs D DRIVE, deleted there!!! plus three annoying classical type songs!! , and managed to sort. Only thing is you have to start from blank again i.e re-set the device up again on the PC. Nuisance!! Also, you need a magnifying glass to read the instructions that come with it. Deleting songs doesn't seem to be covered!! best Mark

I've managed to transfer the music files, by dragging the music from itunes, to the finder onto the reddmango side bar (this is for mac). However when I want to delete a song, i connect the mp3 into the computer select the song and delete, but the song remains on the mp3. Can anyone help? This is the worst product I have ever bought, do not buy one! Also you can't put audiobooks from audible onto it, which was one of my main reasons for buying it.

I had problems doing mine, but just open Widows media player and plug in your Mp3 player and then add all your songs to your sync list and make sure the mp3 isn't locked and then click sync and they get transferred onto the mp3 player, simple enough eh? especially after the trouble I had with mine :')

stick your usb stick in your computer.
But your songs disappear thats why i only use it as a usb.

There is no CD included in the box provided. the only option for usage with a pc/laptop is windows media player

I found the music was ON the player all along,but shuffle was STUCK on...The volume +/- if held down,acts as shuffle.(which does nt work correctly on mine).press & hold minus to take off shuffle...make sure lock isnt on...and red light is flashing & should work...poorly...to use volume +/- keep pressing BUT DO NOT PRESS & HOLD, buy a better make when poss !!

I've just got mine working finally!!! how i did it is after i put it into my laptop a windows screen comes up asking if i want to install my new software, i just clicked 'yes' and 'install automaticly' and now it's fine - works perfect.

Yea mine went onto shuffle too and i cant get it to stop, and also it repeats the same song when there are less songs on it, i give up n say dont buy redmango mp3 players, go with a better brand, so much easier i reckon

I open the computer file when the mp3 in in my computer and it says that I have countless songs downloaded and that I have so much space left but I could only hear 3 shite songs that came free with my computer and when I deleted those off I can;t hear any music at all. It is driving me mental, nothing is ever simple for me!!

Hey all,

I couldnt get anything to go on to my player then i noticed that the player was locked. So all i did was unlock it and it is working fine now.So before you return it make sure it is not locked!:P

open windows media player click on sync plug in ur mp3 .click on songs u want to download and drag thern under sync list . on limewire just click on song u want and drag them to windows media player again under sync list when u finnish click start sync.this should take few minutes.to delete song off ur mp3 plug it in when u do this you should see the following option (play with windows media player) (open to view this file)( or take no action.)click open to view this file then you click on music and you will see all tracks on ur mp3 just click on songs you want to delete

all the music i had downloaded, i syncranised from windows media player to audio player it took about 5 seconds and it works fine. The only problem i have is that i cant seem to take the tracks off. I have copied the same songs several times and would like to know hoe to remove them. Any ideas please

heyy i had the same problem all you have to do is unlock the mp3 player there is a little switch once you have done that you can use it normally.

Hello all

I got one last week and it has been working perfectly.I transfer music to my own via the pc.It's just a matter of copying and pasting the music from your hard drive on to the player...Additionally if the music on the mp3 player is NOT playing, chances are the music may not be in MP3 format...but the conventional/regular music CD format(which the player cannot read)...Your music MUST be CONVERTED TO MP3 FORMAT PRIOR to putting it on the mp3 player..this can be done in windows media player using the "sync to device" function. After copying music onto your pc you can use this function to convert it to mp3 format..and THEN put the converted music onto the reddmango player..

You're not supposed to use windows media player or real player or quicktime or itunes it should come with a cd you should use that the software on it should be able to put music on the reddmango mp3 player. I say should as i do not currently have a reddmango mp3 player but will be obtaning one short
