Many thanks. I managed to follow your advice, and I greased the spindle bearing and oiled the wheel axles. Didnt need to remove the control panel though, maybe I have smaller hands. If it starts to squeak again I will be replacing the pulleys. The build of of DUST was incredible, and a potential FIRE RISK but its about 12 years old so maybe not surprising.

hi found the problem its the two jockey pulley's are worn that tighten the drive belt. cheepest place i found is below.
to get to them take off top then control pannel then bottom plactic bit then the front. only took about 15 mins.
