Nissan Almera E (2001) Blowing Hot Air all the time?

My heating system on my Nissan Almera has just started blowing warm/hot air when I have selected it to blow cold air into the inside of my car.

Please, does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

very often the control cable kinks (inner cable ,like a bike brake cable)so when u turn knob it does not activate the flap the previous post talked about.Niether of these answers are expensive to fix,just awkward to get at.

There will be a little trap inside hosing allowin hot then cold when u turn the knob, spring or arm has gone.
