Radio no sound?

i have a nissan primera p12 on a 06 plate here in uk . and the radio has no sound but every so many days the sound will come on . they is nothing saying a fault in sd part it got green box i have no phone to car or sat nav cd player not work but not care about that . when look to find a radio station i get a like poping sound from left hand door speaker thanks
