It seems to me to be a fuel flow problem. I prime it by pressing the red rubber button and then it starts, once the fuel used to prime it is used up, it dies. Any bodies help would be greatly appreciated. I checked the hoses and there are no leaks, and they are tight fitting.
Had the same problem, and it turned out to be the spark plug!!! Go figure!

Proably time for a carb overhaul ....sometimes just taking it off and checking float ect and cleaning out all holes you see with a small wire ....or let it soak in carb cleaner overnite ....I had same problem and adding fuel cleaner such as you put in car really helps but make measurement for small tank and haven`t had any problems ......gas turns to a laquer if it sits up for awhile in the winter so to be sure to add fuel conditioner or run tank dry before storage
