Proform 6.5q keeps stopping?

When it reaches 1.5mph the motor cuts out. On removing the cover I can see a red light flashes then motor stops. Anyone know why please ?

We have the same problem. However we have found that if you lift the tread part back up to its foldaway position and then put it back doen - then run the thing at minimum speed for 5 minutes it will cope with a fast trot.
