BarcaLounger recliner tightening?

I have a Barcalounger leather recliner that has become loose and reclines too easily. Is there a way I can tighten the unit so that it takes more pressure to recline?

I find no such wing nuts on my unit. My unit must be an older model without it.

Did you try and tighten the wing nuts on the bottom of the recliner. Tilt it forward and under the seat where the reclining bar is there is a wing nut on each side just turn it clockwise until your desired tension is achieved. For further instructions read the lazy boy owners manual online.

DID YOU GET ANY ANWER? I HAVE THE EXACT SAME ISSUE, THE CHAIR RECLINES CONSTANTLY AND I CAN NOT JUST SIT IN THE CHAIR.
