the button on my stearing collum to change the cd player to radio has stopped working now all i have is the radio

take out the cd player from the cd holder but do not disconect face cd player to the floor (cd slot facing down down) then press eject this wont stop it happening again but it will release your current stuck cd

I used a pair of tweezers and wrapped tissue paper round the sharp bits to prevent the cd from being scratched.

Try and tease it out through the slot using another old CD
If that does not work then the player will have to be removed from the dashboard and the casing removed to recover the CD and check the CD mechanism.
Make sure that you have the SECURITY CODE before you start
