How do you replace a fuse in Renault Megane?

My stereo has stopped working, there is no noise or digital display so thought it may be the fuse has blown, have tried to pull out the radio fuse from the board but it just wont come out, do you have to do something first or is there some other reason I cant get it out? Apart from being a woman!!

Its a Renault Megane Coupe Dynamique plus, 2001 reg, any help would be appreciated as cant afford to put into the garage.
