Mend Redring Expressions 570 Electric Shower No Hot Water Repair

redring electric shower 570 overheat light stays on NO HOT WATER ???

i installed a redring electric shower "expressions 570" 18 months ago, the overheat light has now come on and will not go off, thus i have no hot water, even if i leave shower running for a number of minutes, 1) any suggestions as how to fix this ?, 2) any republic of ireland agent for redring ?

your limitstat has gone to lock out replace the strat it called one shot stat it on top of the heater eliment you can reset it but it will blow again the reason it cut outs is when you dont let it cool down after use let it run on untill water has gone cool

I have one of these and I had the same problem with a previous shower.It turned out to be nothing more than the filter getting blocked inside the shower as we have a private water supply that is none too good.You will need to switch off the electricity/water supply and clean the filter.

Hi,

Well can explain the problem. Either:
1) The thermostat has short circuited, meaning the thermostat is reading too hot wehn it's not.

2) The thermostat has moved and is resting on the hot water pipe, again causing a false reading of too hot.

Either way, I think you will need either a Redring agent, or a new shower.
