how to key in code for phillips 400 stereo?

you have to hold down the as button and switch it on and to enter the code is simple as no1 is the first digit no2 is the second and so-on you push no1 until the correct digit appears and then move to the next when complete hold the as button until you hear a beep then it is stored if you get it wrong you have to wait until it will let you enter the code again
