why does my drill trip the power?

my bosch PBH220RE sds hammer drill trips out the mains power as soon as the trigger is pressed? (i have checked the bushes wich are ok)

you've got a short to earth.usually i find that the flex has dammage and to save time and effort testing i just replace the flex.while doing this i also find the other common fault whitch is flex grips inside have pulled loose letting the connections becomeunsecured.caused by dopes pulling the tool towards them via the cord.
