Mend Hotpoint WM50 Prewash Flashing

how can I fix my Aquarius WM 50 washing machine?

The prewash cycle keeps flashing on my hotpoint aquarius WMA50washing machine and we cannot find fault anywhere. water is coming in. it stops mid cycle (usually after wash) and when rinse function clicks round it starts flashing prewash. Can anyone suggest anything?
