Hi James, the water may have overflowed into the base but I am sure that this model does not have a flood switch.Does the water heat?.Does it just carry on and not finish a programme?possibly,the foam has made the heater stat trip.Turn off the power at the plug or spur.Take off the plinth.Take the machine out of the unit and take off the right hand side panel.In the base on the top of the white plastic sump is a thermostat with a red button.Press the button,if it clicks you have reset it.Go to the front of the machine and turn the timer spindle till the pointer is at 12 o clock.You have now reset the timer and the machine should work okay.All the best.
