Ive got a Corsa 1.2 SXI 02 PLATE the stereo is a cdo 2005 but I cannot put in the new code. I did what the manual says and the stereo bleeped. Itried to put the code in but found the code was wrong. The screen now shows 7 SAFE. I believe I have the right code now but cannot get the radio to bleep and change so I can put the code in. The stereo just keeps showing 7 SAFE. I have taken the stereo out to get the serial no off it could this have caused the problem?
"7 SAFE" means that an invalid code has been entered 3 times.
Just leave the radio switched on (showing "7 SAFE") until it shows "7 ----". It takes up to 20-30 minutes.

It should not be locked I have only tried to put the wrong code in 3 times and the manual states im allowed 10 goes.

You have tried the wrong code to many times and locked the radio,it's the same as when the cash machine eats your card,it thinks it is fraudulent use,I think it's a trip to the dealer for you now!
