i just broke down our dryer thats a hot point its older
how do i find where green wire goes cause its on knob
at top and could it stop it from power on or what is that

Hi Debbie,
I have the same model as you and this has happened to me a couple of times.
The most common fault is the thermostats located at the back of the machine; You will have to remove the back of the machine to gain access. This can easily be done if you are DIY capable.
