Sounds like you may need to replace the motor. If the motor bearings have gotten fine dirt in them or are bad for any other reason (moisture, etc...) they will make the motor run hot. A hot motor will trigger the thermal shut off switch to turn off before a fire can start. This is a good thing in general. Bad news for you though. Sorry mate!
