Conclusion first:
The waste hose can't start against the floor. It must rise up about 2 feet/70 centimeters first.
This solves the problem of "water tap closed indicator light".
I bought a whirlpool machine, same problem, returned it, took the money.
A year later (now) I bought the same machine. Same problem!
On both machines I ignored the manual saying "don't disconnect the waste pipe from the clamp on the back of the machine". But I did that so it could reach the sewer.
Theory: If the machine don't feel any pressure against the outlet, it assume the waste hose is gone and wont empty the machine. If the machine is full it can't take more water in.
