Hi. These last few days, when I engage Drive or Reverse the car jumps slightly, but doesnt when I
disengage. Once engaged in drive the auto changes
up and down are smooth. Does this sound like an
expensive fault? Thanks

Hi richard.Thanks for your response. It definitley jumps
just after start up when cold, revs about 1200, but
when warm and revs about 700 it still jumps a bit.
The car is 1998 Mk.2 and has done only 72000 careful
miles. No, I havent had any work done since February
when it did its MOT (rear number plate bulb)
