Worcester Heatslave 20/25 - can't locate lockout reset button?

Hi,

Water pressure had dropped so lockout light came on. I have looked everywhere but can't find the reset button. Can anyone tell me where I can find it?

Thanks,

Heather

Hi very useful thank you regarding me finding the burner lockout but unfortunately the orange reset button goes in but then buzzes and within 10 seconds it clicks back to orange. Boiler won't fire up even with 1.5 bar on dial and a full tank of oil. The aerator outside is only 2 cm high so is it starved of oil maybe? it has been smelling of oil for a few months while it was working ok?

Thank you - another customer now not needing to call an engineer! Didn't realise the silver panel came off.

What a stupid, ridiculous, most unfriendly place to put the reset button! Take off front facia cover. Get on your knees, look up on left hand side and you will see either a red button or nipple hidden from normal view, behind the control panel. That's the little b*gger that you push to reset!

Hey, Worcester, why not put it on the front control panel?????

Hope this helps others.

OK there are two on this, boiler lockout and burner lockout.

Take off front panel.

Boiler reset is under the control dial fascia on left hand side.

Burner reset - remove silver cover off burner (big silver box about 10" square below the big red expansion vessel), press the glowing button.

i think it is on the very top of the boiler, to the left, at the front. It is a red button that looks like a rivet.
