Yes its the tension pulley between the altenator and bottom pulley these were made of plastic and made an awful whining noise when worn. Ford have a revised metal pulley out now which hopefully should last longer and not make so much noise when it gets worn, these usually retail at £25 from ford dealers

with the engine idling spray wd40 into alternater. if it go quiet its your alternater.
