interior light in the ford transit connect works intermittently ?

the interior lights on my ford transit connect do not always come on when the door is opened and when they do work the lights go off before the key is in the ignition or the door is closed.

remove fuse from box under bonnet which has picure off speedometer on. refit after one minute and lights should work ok

my 06 connect same problem disconnect battery lead for at least half hour it will reprogramme ecu . mine works fine now

i have the same issue, what cluster did you replace mate, my local dealership reckon ots a door lock causing the issues, not convinced myself

light whent back out still a fault
put it in fords
new light cluster needed
now sorted

ckeck the left multi-plug on the back of the dashboard cluster unplug it and put it back on 5 min job.
