how can i fix my zanussi zdc5370W condenser dryer?

after putting it on to the setting required it sounds as if it's going to start working but then there's just nothing. The drum's not going round, makes a strange noise then flicks the door open! Help!! It's only 2 years old.

Do yourself a favour and get an engineer to sort it out. Zanussi service number is in the user manual. They'll charge about £40 and you'll get it done properley. Lots of the advice given on these forums is ill informed and down right dangerous.
