My washing machine wont start because the light is flashing on door closed. i have checked the seal and the lock and everything seems fine. We had a power cut when the machine was on and it hasnt worked since.

Try forcing gently the spring loaded door handle forward slightly / while pushing on the door / worked 4 me xx

mine does this as well. i have two children who insist on leaning on the door when it is open and has bent the hinge slightly. if mine does this i just press the door at the handle point and it locks it and the machine starts. no need to swith off whilst light is flashing just push. good luck
