I tried to clear totals and logo on the Samsung 4615 a second hand machine I've taken over. Now the screen reads 'closed' and I can get no further. I do have an instruction book but it makes little sense. I dont have a 'C' key is this essential?. Help please to get me going again.

It is waiting for someone to log on. You need to type the operator number then clerk button. By default, the operator number should be 1.
