That is correct. You need to press the cash button while in programming mode for it to work.

Hi.
You probably haven't finished before turning the key.
Try to find a position (apart from off) with the key that doesn't make it scream. If you find one, press CASH in that mode. Otherwise, turn to each mode and press clear in each mode.

If you get it to stop screaming, this should be the tax programming procedure:

Turn key to P mode.
1 RA
15.000
Then press TAX

You might have to press CASH to finish. It doesn't tell me for this model, but it is standard for Samsungs.
