i have recently purchesd a new speedfight and after only a month on the road the bike will not work properly it starts fine but when you accelerate it will go a few feet then spluter and stop. the fuel and oil are both full and the spark plug is fitted correctly
hello i have a problem with my peugeot speedfight 2 LC it will start and accelerate whilst on the stand but it is a different matter wen i take it off the stand because wen i try to accelerate it just cuts outs, i have checked the bottom of the spark plug and its colour black?can anyone please help?

mine has the exact same problem, but fuel is excessively leaking out from the top leak off pipe, does anyone have any suggestions to what it it is ? thanks :)

u should use dukt tape on the spart plug because if it gets wet ur scooter will turn off..

Make shore the choke is working ok,
And check the fuel tap is working, as this functions by vacuum, or there may be a damaged vacuum pipe.
also it mite sound crazzy but check the drive belt for damage,

sounds like the carbeurettor is putting too much feul in or too less feul....

Same thing happened to my sons bike, after aweek of trying allsorts, found out from local bike shop that they also had abike in with same problem, they just removed the air box, tried this and its been working OK ever since.

It's the choke. I have a speedfight. If it isn't started every day, it fails to start.
