No sound on VHS tape?

I tape TV shows and there is no sound, only silence; how do I get the volume/audio to work on the VHS tape? Model # is PV-V4520. SN is J0195257. Do you have any ideas on what to do? These are new tapes.

Video, Cassette Recorders Sound Vhs Tape

Model 450 panasonic vhs camcorder records sound but shows no video in view finder nor does it record video, only shows a square box flashing in view finder but all audio records fine. Whats wrong?

i have sound but no picture. recorded my wedding and it started good but then the picture started getting fuzzy and went out. now i just have sound and no video. How can i fix this?

If you connect via a SCART cable, that could be faulty. Otherwise it is very unlikely to be the actual tape. Tried a video head cleaning cassette?
