Beko WMA 641S Problem no wash / spin?

Hi there, i am hoping you can help me. My parents' Beko WMA 641S washing machine has gone on the blink this morning. It wont spin or wash. When you switch it on the washer makes the sound like it is going to spin for a couple seconds but then just goes quiet.

Any heklp would be really appreciated.
