I have a vauxhall signum 1.9 tdi 190 brake, it has no power at all untill it reaches 2500 revs? then it seems to be ok, its been for a service today but has nt been fixed & I have been advised to take to to a dealer
Any ideas?
change your fuel filter (they often collect water) car will continue with problem for a short while and eventually kick out black smoke drive through this. light on dash will go out, then stop tax dodging and buy white diesel like the rest of us. if that dont work egr valve.

Hmm! 'Take it to a dealer' Did you have a basic service or full one? With a comment like that I would assume they were incapable of carrying out a full and proper service which would include the running of the engine efficiently.
I would therefore seek another service agent.
