i have a thomson dt16300-16 freeview box and first it wouldnt deleat any programes it would freeze until i unplugged it and plugged it back in but now i cant turn it on. it is just flashing red
Same thing has happened to me, software problem is it! My son & I purchased at the same time from the same shop, however he paid for the Satanta card and has had no problem.
I expect better from equipment, no more Thomson of any description for me, at least I have that option.

Same thing happened to me, my son paid for the upgrade card and, so far has had no problem - suspicious, no more Thomson for me!

I have the same problem with my Thompson box - the flashing red light and not being able to turn it on. I Just called the technical helpline who told me it is a software corruption problem and if I was a Top up TV subscriber they would just replace the box, they wouldn't bother with a repair.
Funny how these problems happen just after the warranty has run out.
