fan not working on warm air central heating?

I've just had a similar problem with mine, I had to replace the motor though as the bearings had seized. The unit need to run with hardly any resistance, that problem is now rectified but a new problem has surfaced. The unit keeps stopping and starting before eventually running. I'm going to change the capacitor next to see if that helps, this could actually be the cause of your problem.
