how do i get a bra wire from between the drums in my hotpoint ultima wt960?

Andy is right, but the direction is wrong! The three green plastic pyramids need to be pulled FORWARDS. They click and then you can lift out.
If you do one and then the rotate the drum you should be able to see what is stuck. 5 minute job tops

I've tried to move one of these plastic inserts in a Hotpoint WT940 and they only move about a quarter of an inch freely and then no matter what effort I or my hubby put into it, they don't seem to move any more.

Can anyone share any further info such as how far the insert needs to move, what the best tools for the job are or if they have the knack of how to do it. Any help gratefully received.

when you open the washer door , in the drum you will see 3 plastic inserts these inserts are removable you have to push them towards back of machine (quite hard) and lift them out. this gives you access between the drums, using a coathanger or something similar you should be able to remove the wire.
