How do I fix my maytag model A412 series 10 washing machine?
My washing machine is not draining. I have disconnected the drain pipe and determined that it is not clogged. What else could cause my washer to hold it's water
Some times a sock or underwear gets into the tub and then gets caught in the drain hole. you can remove the drain from the tub. If no water comes out then something is plugging the hole. It happened top me occasionallly and I was able to remove it with a screwdriver and needle nose plier. Caution!! If the tub is full of water you may get a flood when you remove the obstruction!! Take the water out manually.
