Mend Hotpoint Aquarius Machine Working Flash

Hotpoint Washing Machine (W540) stopped working, LEDs flash?

Hi, we have an 18 month old Hotpoint Aquarius W540 washer. It will not run any programs anymore. You can hear the water going into machine, but after approx 30 seconds, the RINSE LOAD and MINI LOAD LED's flash along with the on/off button and drum does not spin and washer unresponsive. Only option we have is to pull the plug. Please help!

same happend to me just unplug if you can not get to plug switch off at fuse board for afew seconds switch back on should be fine

i have one too and the same has happened with mine..it happens periodically and i generally leave it for a while unplugged and it re sets..this is clearly a design fault as my washer is not used too much..i am away from home and will be returning to plug it in again as the same happened 2 days ago..very frustrating

that flashing leds is a fault code and i need more infomation for it to fail so early in the cycle it will probally be a notor or heater fault and is not a diy fix
