when should I change the oil in my 04 renault traffic?

I have a 04 Renault Traffic and I want to give it a full service. How frequent should I change the oil and what about the gearbox oil?

change oil every 3 months or 3000 miles or which ever comes first .....gearbox oil about every 30,000 miles
In some peoples eyes this is too soon but if ya want to keep vechile for awhile this is the best,\
My s10 has over 300,000 miles and still going strong .
